Maggie here with some stellar news! Ana has been evaluated at Shirley Ryan and she has been approved for the full AbilityLab program by the doctors! ANA IS SHIRLEY RYAN READY!
We are excited, but still have some hoops to jump through. We will need to do a bit of a dance with insurance and the facility to see what they are willing to cover. Once Finance and Insurance talk, we will have a better picture of how long her treatment will be (between 2-4 weeks). From there, Ana will be sent home and Outpatient can begin.
Ana is acknowledging and tracking with her full range of vision. She is lifting her head, moving her arms and legs. We are seeing great improvements. And with three hours of therapy a day at Shirley Ryan’s, she will come a very long way!
More updates soon, but most importantly if you can give, please do! The next road will be costly, and we are determined to support Ana and her family’s needs!

We have raised more than $33,000 toward a goal of up to $150,000. Every donation helps provide the therapy Ana needs to continue making progress and regain as much independence as possible.
On a personal note, Ana’s recovery has become a central priority in my life. I spend multiple days each week by their bedside and am helping manage the finances associated with their care. Knowing that we can pay for the necessary therapies lifts an enormous weight from Ana's family and allows us to focus on what matters most: the next steps in recovery.
